Gautam Gambhir Replied to Shahid Afridi’s Tweet [A Roland for an Oliver]
On August 5, Article 370 was removed from the Indian Constitution, under the leadership of the Modi government and by Amit Shah who keep the Home Minister’s office running smoothly.
All Indians are celebrating this. Home Minister Amit Shah proposed a new law in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha which was passed by an overwhelming majority.
Many bigwigs have opposed this decision. Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi tweeted against the removal of 370 and expressed his anger from Pakistan.
Pkaistani Cricketer Shahid Afridi said
“Kashmiris must be given their due rights as per #UN resolution. The rights of Freedom like all of us. Why was @UN created & why is it sleeping? The unprovoked aggression & crimes being committed in Kashmir against #Humanity must be noted. The @POTUS must play his role to mediate”
Former Indian cricket star and Delhi MP from BJP Gautam Gambhir responded strongly to this and surrounded Pakistan on it.
Gautam Gambhir pulled Shahid Afridi’s leg and said that his tweet is really praiseworthy, just that he forgot to write the name of ‘Pakistan occupied Kashmir’ in his tweet. Gautam Gambhir said that rest assured that the problem will also be solved soon.
Gautam Gambhir tweeted
“Shahid Afridi is spot on guys. There is “unprovoked aggression”, there r “crimes against humanity”. He shud be lauded 👏for bringing this up. Only thing is he forgot to mention that all this is happening in “Pakistan Occupied Kashmir”. Don’t worry, will sort it out son!!!”
